Stadium of fire

So we went to Stadium of Fire last night. I have tons of movies from there, which I'm too lazy to upload right now. But it was cool...and here are a couple of pictures from that night.

Transformers: More than meets the eye. Robots in disguise

So Adam and Logan and I all ended up seeing the new transformers movie last night. Although it was a good movie, there were a few things about it that didn't make sense. Upon talking about the movie, Adam and I came up with several things that could have made Transformers a little more believable.

1) So we get the fact that the original Optimus Prime was a Semi Trailer, and I guess you can't change that or you start making fans angry. But the trasformers can obviously change into any machine they want to...so why did they all change into cars? Why not change into fighet jets and get to places more quickly. Its like, "We've gotta hurry...so I'll change into a speedy 18 wheeler! Step on the gas!"

2) So they hide the big, giant cube inside all this concrete so that it can't transmit any signals to humans or alien life, thus keeping it a secret. But the little alien dude finds it and transmits its location to all the Decepticons from inside the same concrete barricade that prevents the cube from transmitting anything.

3) The Transormers were never around when the kid needed him. They always seemed to disappear and reappear at random times.

4) When the kid was trying to find those glasses in his room, why could his parents hear him talking in his room, but they couldn't hear the Autobots right outside the window talking and walking around?

5) In the last scene of the movie, they are tryig to keep Megatron from getting the cube. Also, if the cube is shoved into a robots chest, it kills them both. So lets consider their options at this point:
a) Give the cube to Optimus Prime and have him shove it into Megatron's chest and kill him.
b) Give it to any of the autobots and have them run far away and keep it from Megatron.
c) Give it to one of the army guys that were there, jump in one of their hummers and drive away with it really fast.
d) Give it to anybody that has a car and drive away with it really fast.
e) Give it to an army guy, who is it good physical condition, have him run with it, and shoot anything that tries to take it away from him.

But what did they do: Gave it to the 16 year old kid and had him run with it, on foot for several blocks, up to the top of this building so a helicopter could take it from him. Seems like a bad idea given that Megatron could have killed the kid and taken the cube any time he wanted.

6) Speaking of that, Megatron kept asking the kid to give him the cube. Why didn't he just kill the kid and take it instead of asking a kid who was 1/10th his size to please give it back.

7) How many girl mechanics are as hot as the girl in the movei? Zero.
8) How many computer programmers are as hot as the chick in the movie? Zero.
9) How many computer hackers are black gangsters that aren't nerds? Zero.

10) Just kinda funny that when they can't break the code of the transmission thing, the girl programmer says, "There is only one hacker in the world who can break this code." Oh, lucky for us, she knew him...and even more coincidence, she knows him...and even more coincidently, he lives right across the street. And guess what, he's not a nerdy white guy..he's a black, inner city gangster. Hmm...

11) So he breaks the code, goes to jail, and you never see him again. What was the point of him breaking the code in the first place if it doesn't mean anything?

12) And at the end of the movie, why did they make love on top of one of the transformer cars, with all the other transformer cars watching close by. Thats just gross.

These are some video's from Jentrie and my last adventure. Some of these videos are from the rodeo, and then some pictures from the Parade today.

Actually, I just realized that I really hate the blogging system for adding pictures and videos. So I created a youtube account which I'm creating a link to for my videos. And then I'm creating a shutterfly account for my picture albums.

This is one of the videos of the rodeo. It is the 'halftime show' of motorcycles.

Pictures of Ducks etc.

Well hey everybody. Another post here. Jentrie and I had fun tonight and made some cool pictures. We went up to UVSC campuhere they have this kinda duck pond thing. We made some pictures of UVSC campus at night so you can see kinda where we go to school...and then some pictures of the ducks as well. They were really cute and came right up to us. They even followed us around. We would walk to like another part of the pond and they would waddle after us or get in the water and swim to where we were. It was way funny. Then there are some random pictures of us and a video of us at this party one of her married friends had tonight. It was pretty fun as well.

So anyway, thats what a day is like in our lives. Hope you enjoy the pictures and videos! Talk to you guys on Skype soon!

Another separate Blog

My bedroom

My Living Room

My house and street

The other side of my living room

The view of the mountains behind my house

Hey guys!

Well, for those that have read any of my other blog postings...here's another one. We'll see how long this one lasts. Any predictions? Well, there's probably only about 7 people that will ever read this...and I talk to those 7 people at least once a day...so I don't know how important this really is. But anyway. So a lot has happened since school got out. I got a great summer job which I will probably keep next year as well. Its a company called logoworks, and we design logos, business cards, stationary, websites etc. for businesses. However, logoworks just got bought by Hewlett Packard, so officially, I know work for HP. That has been pretty nice for several reasons. Sure its a great company to work for...and sure its fun...and yeah we get good benifits...but the coolest thing about it is that we get discounts on all this cool HP merchandise...which is rad. And on Thursday they bought all of the 140 employees at logoworks new digital cameras. No strings attached...just gave us some toys. And they're nice too...so I'm going to start actually posting pictures on my blog this time. The pictures I'm posting today are just some panoramic pictures of my house and stuff. Nothing too exciting. Although there's only like 5 pictures this time...because the memory card I bought was defective....and I can't take very many pictures yet.

Funny story before I finish my first post...I work two jobs right now actually. My other job is at a travel agency, and I have to be there at 8 am. The other day came home at night, and I was exhausted as usual. So I took a nap...and then woke up a couple of hours later. I was kinda groggy, and looked outside and saw that it was light out. I looked at my cell phone and saw that it was 8:00. I automatically thought that I had slept all night and that it was now 8:00 am. So I hurried to get in the show and head out the door since I was already late for work. And I called my boss (keep in mind that it is actually 8:00 pm) and was like, "Hey Dale, this is Ethan. I'm running a little late, but I'll be there as soon as I can." I didn't want to admit that I had slept through my 7:00 alarm, so I tried to be vauge about why I was late for work. And dale is like, "Late for what?" Confused, I said, "I'm late for work. Yeah, I'm on my way and I'll be there soon." Even more confused, he said, "You mean work tomorrow?" I had no idea what was going on. Was today Sunday and I'm not going into work until tomorrow? I couldn't figure out what was happening. SO I was like, "No Dale. I slept through my alarm this morning and I'm going to be late for work today." There was a pause and Dale said, "Dude, are you smoking crack?" I got kinda defensive, and I was like, "No! I'm just going to be late, thats all." Dale is finally like, "Dude, its 8:00 at night." Another uncomfortable pause...and I'm like..."Oooooh, that makes more sense. Okay, well I'm definitely going to be on time for work tomorrow."

Yeah it was pretty funny. Moral of the story...don't work so hard that you can't remember what day it is.
